In an apartment in Lisbon, Marta takes care of her newborn daughter while convalescing from childbirth. In these first days they receive visits from family and friends. As they get involved in the intimacy of her home they start narrating stories about marriage, childbirth, first jobs, expectations and plans for the future. In several sequences we see in Ordinary Time the unfolding of life cycle through several voices – creating fragments that mingle with the moment that Marta is living. Alongside, conjugal life and the home routines that set in will be the barometer of Marta’s inner evolution.

A woman, in her loneliness, while she is putting make up in front of the mirror, she realizes that a child observes her apart and after the first reaction of fear, she begs him to make her company, and from here part a depth dialogue thanks to which understand that their respective tied up histories tightly.

The docufilm starts from Naples, the original capital of music and vinyl record in Italy, and through the testimonies of musicians, collectors, audiophiles, vendors, sociologists and fans is the story of an icon: the record, from registration to print, from distribution to purchase, from listening to its conservation.

The last report on the state of press’ freedom in Italy is out, and s**t is hitting the fan.

Italian press ranks behind north Korea, the third Reich and Star Wars’ Galactic Empire.

But the government will finally tackle the issue creating a new newspaper, one where all the news are randomly generated and taken from the “hottest” social media topics.

After all, is there anything more free than complete randomness?

Stefano is part of the editorial board, but is tormented by the problems that the very nature of the newspaper itself will cause among Italian society. Italian society, on the other hand, loves it.

One evening, the lady, instead of taking food scraps, tells her nephew that she has found the baby abandoned by the neighborhood prostitute and who intends to keep it with her at all costs.

Tra il cane e il lupo

Between the dog and the wolf reconstructs the experience of the Collettivo Cinema Militante di Milano (Militant Cinema Collective of Milan), which came into being in ’68.
The director’s voice alternates with film shot by the Collective, recently restored and mostly never previously released, and with interviews to the Collective’s filmmakers. Not only street demos but also the battles for housing, the internal migration, factories and the escalation of violence.
The film uses three generations of a family to narrate the constant interweaving of collective and personal memories.

Effatà Road

Effatà Road tells about the migration in an unusual way.
In the first part, four migrants slowly cross the Sicilian landscapes, the ?border? where the beauty mixes itself with life’s hardness. Together with four famous personalities, between embarrassments and insight, they unfold each other, exchanging stories, memories and perspectives.
In the second part we’ll listen the father of a victim of the shipwreck of 3 October 2013. And we will witness a double commemoration in Lampedusa and in Castellammare del Golfo near the cemetery where many of the victims of this insane massacre rest.
