ANIMATION AND “CORTOONS” at RIFF: culture & entertainment

This year RIFF hosts the protagonists of “CORTOONS”, Festival Internazionale dei Cortometraggi di Animazione (International Animated Short film Festival ) organized and sponsored by Cultural Association Cortitalia. Within this year edition of RIFF, Cortitalia will introduce its social project Integranimation, a workshop on professional training aimed at promoting cultural integration and starting employment. This initiative wants to introduce social topics through stop-motion and object animation/pixilation seminars. Every year “CORTOONS” is highly involved in creating and promoting new animated audiovisual products both Italian and International, encouraging dialogue between different creative experiences. This year “CORTOONS”, in its 9th edition, wants to present Integranimation, a breeding ground for talents, promoted by the successful collaboration between Cultural Association Cortitalia, The Co2 – Crisis Opportunity Onlus and  the Social Cooperatives Sartorio e Trasparenze with the support of Fondazione Roma – Terzo Settore. Countries such as Ecuador, Togo, Burkina Faso, Romania and Mali will take part in this project and will work together to produce two short films on the topic of integration.
