Lapü documents Doris’s journey into the realm of death. Mirroring the Wayúu belief that the deceased coexist with the living, filmmakers Juan Pablo Polanco and César Alejandro Jaimes resurrect the world of the dead so that it lives side by side with Doris as she embarks on her “second burial.” The result is a haunting, mysterious vision that blurs Western concepts of loss and time and flips the conventional approach to documentary storytelling on its head.

In order to escape her oppressive home life and stop working as a ghostwriter, 23-year-old Yuma, a naive comic book artist with cerebral palsy begins to illustrate erotic manga. However, despite Yuma’s talent, Fujimoto, the editor in chief rejects her submission due her lack of sexual experience and tells her to come back once she has sex. After a disastrous encounter at the Love Hotel, Yuma befriends Mai, a worldly sexworker and a caretaker Toshiya, leading her on an unexpected journey of painful, but ultimately liberating truth.

Ettore is a common kid: he likes Rome, playing soccer, sharing time with his classmates. His father Gianmarco is a bit ‘gruff, a alpha male, a real tough guy. We meet them while they are in the car going to see the Roma/Lazio soccer derby. Ettore is wearing a female superhero dress, light blue. When they finally arrive at their destination, we see Ettore performing an amazing performance, until it is abruptly interrupted by a fat woman with a white nurse uniform. Then, we realise that we are not in a theatre, but in a hospital room. In front of Ettore there is Lucia, a friend of him who is about to take a surgery.
